Om< is a sacred symbol and mantra with great importance in both Hindu and Buddhist traditions, a meditative sound that is believed to resonate with all things in the universe. Made Mulyani, coming from a family of Indonesian artisans, proudly creates this wall relief, which is hand-carved from local suar wood to depict the Sanskrit symbol for om surrounded by sun motifs.
